Simple.
We feel the teachings of Jesus are probably one of the best ways to conduct one’s life. However, those teachings have been misconstrued, lost, or in certain cases completely abandoned, by today’s modern Church structure.
We feel the current American Evangelical model, as well as many others, has lost its way. This is not something that has happened recently. No, it is the product of centuries of man using religion to exert power, however subtly, over others.
We know there are others out there who sense something isn’t quite right on a Sunday morning. There are those who are questioning if, wondering if, hoping that there is something better out there.
We feel there is something better. Freedom. Freedom from the Church hierarchy starts with knowledge, therefore we write to expose the contradictions, absurdities, and fear said hierarchy lives behind.
